Well it is definitely oyster season! Taylor Shellfish arranged a "Walrus and Carpenter Picnic" for folks to come down from Seattle to a farm this January at low tide for a bon fire, fresh oyster eating, and wine tasting. The tour was instantly full and now there are 3 busses scheduled for different days to come down for the event! It made me think of how fun it would be to have some friends over and host a similar party at my own shellfish garden and I thought perhaps some of you would like to do the same! Cheers!
